A gardener is generally any person involved in gardening. While the garden designer designs the garden and provides direction and supervision, the gardener is the the person who will undertake the work to produce the desired outcome. The gardener is the person who has the skill to maintain the garden’s design. A gardener’s work includes planting flowers and other plants, weeding, pruning, grafting, removal of dead flowers and tending garden compost.
Cape Town is divided into several commonly known groupings of suburbs, many of which developed historically together and share common attributes and language and culture. The City Bowl includes the central business district of Cape Town and the harbor. The Atlantic Seaboard lies west of Cape Town and Table Mountain and is characterised by its beaches, cliffs, promenade and hillside communities. The West Coast suburbs lie along the beach to the north of the Cape Town city center. Cape Town’s southern suburbs region lies on the southern slopes of Table Mountain, southeast of the city center. The Tygerberg hospital lies in the Northern Suburbs which includes cities like Bellville, Durbanville, Goodwood and Parow. The South Peninsula region includes the area south of Muizenberg on False Bay and Noordhoek on the Atlantic Ocean, all the way to Cape Point. The Eastern suburbs region lies southeast of the Northern Suburbs, beyond the airport. The Cape Flats are an expansive, low-lying area situated to the southeast of the Cape Town CBD. The Helderberg region consists of Somerset West, Strand and Gordon’s Bay and gets its name from the imposing Helderberg Mountain.
